Floor care
Nightly cleaning keeps floors tidy; periodic work keeps them from wearing out. We schedule stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet cleaning on a rotation that fits your foot traffic, and do it when the space is empty.

What is included
- Strip and wax for vinyl composition tile
- Buffing and burnishing between refinishes
- Carpet extraction and spot treatment
- Entry mat and high-traffic lane attention
- Grout and tile cleaning in restrooms and kitchens
Your written checklist sets the final scope; anything here can be added, removed or scheduled less often.
How the work runs
Floor care starts with knowing what is underfoot. During the walkthrough we identify each surface, check its condition and note the traffic it gets. A lobby, a corridor and a back office wear at very different rates, so they do not need the same rotation.
The plan sets which work happens when: buffing between refinishes, stripping and recoating when the finish is worn, and carpet extraction on a cycle that matches traffic. Spot work on spills and entry mats fills the gaps between the big jobs.
Scheduling
Machine work is scheduled when the space is empty, usually overnight or on weekends, so floors have time to dry and cure. Heavy-traffic areas get attention more often; quiet rooms less.
Questions about floor care
How long before we can walk on a refinished floor?
Light foot traffic is usually fine once the finish has dried; furniture goes back after it has cured. The plan states the timing for your floors.
Do you clean carpet as well as hard floors?
Yes. Carpet extraction and spot treatment are part of floor care, alongside hard-floor stripping, waxing and buffing.
Can floor care be added to our regular cleaning?
Yes. Periodic floor work can be added to an existing nightly plan, so one checklist covers both.
