How the work runs
Stores are judged at eye level and at floor level. During the walkthrough we note the entry glass, the display fixtures, the fitting rooms and the floor surfaces, and we ask when deliveries arrive, because a stockroom full of cardboard changes what a clean visit looks like.
The checklist puts the customer-facing areas first: entrance, glass, sales floor, fitting rooms and checkout. Back-of-house work follows, so if a visit is ever cut short by a late close, the shop floor is still ready to open.
Scheduling
Cleaning usually happens after close or early in the morning before opening. Busy locations often add a mid-day touch-up of restrooms and entry glass. Seasonal changes, such as holiday hours or a window reset, are added to the plan ahead of time.
Questions about retail store cleaning
Will cleaning disturb our merchandise?
No. Crews clean around displays and do not move stock unless you ask. Fixtures that need moving for floor work are listed in the checklist, with how to put them back.
Can you handle a store with mixed flooring?
Yes. Wood, tile, concrete and carpet each get the method that suits them, and the checklist notes which surface is where.
Do you clean the storefront glass outside?
Street-level glass can be cleaned inside and out. Glass above street level is outside this service.
