Cleaning for property managers and multi-tenant buildings

A1 cleans lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairwells, shared restrooms and tenant suites for property managers and building owners. The plan is built from a walkthrough of the whole property and written as one checklist that separates common areas from each tenant's space.

What makes this work different

  • Lobbies and elevators are seen by every tenant and visitor every day
  • Each tenant may have different hours, access rules and expectations
  • Shared restrooms and trash rooms take heavy, uneven use
  • Requests come from several people, so priorities can get crossed
  • Floors and glass in common areas wear faster than inside suites

How we plan it

The walkthrough covers the building from the entrance to the roof door: lobby, mailroom, elevators, stairwells, corridors, restrooms, trash and recycling rooms, and any amenity spaces. We also walk the tenant suites that are in scope and note each one's access hours and keys.

The checklist is split by area so a property manager can see what the building gets and what each tenant gets. One named contact passes requests along, which keeps tenant asks from pulling crews away from the core plan. When a tenant moves in or out, or a floor is renovated, the checklist is revised and sent to you in writing.

Areas we clean

  • Lobby floors, glass, directories and mailboxes
  • Elevator cabs, doors and call buttons
  • Stairwells and handrails
  • Corridors and common-area carpets
  • Shared restrooms
  • Trash and recycling rooms
  • Amenity spaces such as lounges and fitness rooms
  • Tenant suites included in the agreement

Questions about property management and multi-tenant buildings

Can you clean common areas only, without the tenant suites?

Yes. Many buildings start with common areas, and suites can be added tenant by tenant. The checklist shows exactly which spaces are covered.

How are tenant requests handled?

Requests go through the contact the building names. That person decides what gets added, so the crew is never caught between competing asks.

Can you prepare a vacant unit for a new tenant?

Yes. A vacant suite can be cleaned as a one-time job and added to the plan once the new tenant moves in.
